Can I bring/provide my own item for laser engraving?

Yes, you can send the item/material for engraving

How do I get a quote for the laser engraving service?

You can send us your enquiry through our Contact Us Form and we will get back to you within 1 – 2 working days. Do kindly fill in the details required in the form as accurately as possible so that we will be able to have a better understanding on the job and provide a more accurate quote

How can payment be made?

Payment can be made in cash/cheque upon completion of job. Do check with us for other payment arrangements

Glass Engraving

What kind of glass can be engraved?

Any regular, crystal or lead crystal glass which is flat or cylindrical can be engraved

What kind of Glass cannot be laser engraved?

Borosillicate/heat resistant glass cannot be engraved

What size of Glass can be laser engraved?

– Cylindrical items should not exceed 9cm (Diameter) X 21cm (Height)

– Flat items should not exceed the dimensions of 40cm (Length) X 30cm (Breadth) X 10cm (Height)

How is the finishing like on Glass?

Laser engraving or etching on glass produces a “frosted” effect that is unique and different from sand blasting

What are the limitations to engraving on Glass?

It is possible to laser engrave logos, line art and text only. Uneven surfaces will result in an uneven engraving. If you are unsure if your intended material can be laser engraved, feel free to contact us

Metal Engraving

What kind of Metals can be laser engraved?

All metals, ranging from metals like Stainless steel, to Brass and Aluminium can be laser engraved

Which kind of Metals cannot be laser engraved?

Almost all metals can be laser engraved

What size of Metals can be laser engraved?

– Flat metallic pieces should not exceed the dimensions of 10cm (Length) X 10cm (Breadth)

– Cylindrical pieces should not exceed 9cm (Diameter) X 21cm (Height)

How is the finishing like on Metals?

– Raw metals may have a black or white finish over the laser engraved surface

– For coated metals, you will be able to choose either have the similar black finish as raw metal or just leaving the finishing being the base colour of the metal underneath the coating

– Anodized metals will not have a black finish but will change in colour upon engraving. However, the colour of the finishing will depend on the base colour of the metal

What are the limitations to engraving on Glass?

It is possible to laser engrave logos, line art and texts onto metals. Uneven surfaces will result in an uneven engraving. If you are unsure if your intended material can be laser engraved, feel free to contact us

Plastic Engraving

What kind of Plastics can be laser engraved?

Almost all plastics, ranging from plastics like Acrylic, to Polycarbonate (PC) and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) can be laser engraved. Plastics can be flat or cylindrical in shape

Which kind of Plastics cannot be laser engraved?

Only Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and Polyvinyllidene Chloride (PVDC) plastic cannot be laser engraved

What size of Plastic can be laser engraved?

– Cylindrical pieces should not exceed 9cm (Diameter) X 21cm (Height)

– Flat pieces should not exceed the dimensions of 40cm (Length) X 30cm (Breadth) X 6.5cm (Height)

How is the finishing like on Plastics?

This depends on the plastic material itself. Generally acrylic will result in a frosted effect. Some other plastic though no change in colour but will instead give a depth to the engraving

Plastic materials are the easiest materials to laser engrave and have little limitations. It is possible to laser engrave logos, line art, text and images onto plastics. Wood Engraving

What kind of Wood can be laser engraved?

Any type of wood ranging from chip board to cork board and even solid wood can be laser engraved. Wood can be flat or cylindrical in shape

How is the finishing like on Wood?

Different type of woods may have different depth of engraving colour and effects. Chipboard and cork-board will have a more “burnt” and darker finish while solid wood are more resistant to burning and hence, a lighter finish. The depth of engraving can also be controlled. It is possible to have an extremely deep or mild surface engraving on wood

What are the limitations to engraving on Wood?

Wood with varying grains might result in uneven engraving because those grains might not burn as easily as the rest of the wood. It is possible to laser engrave logos, line art, text and images onto wood. Uneven surfaces will result in an uneven engraving. Almost any kind of material can be engraved, ranging from hand phone cases, water tumblers, granite stones, velvet pouches etc. Work pieces can be flat or cylindrical in shape
